National Day of Prayer 2026

Thursday, May 7, 2026, is the 75th annual National Day of Prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being with us. Thank You for caring about every part of our lives—from our homes to our nation. We come to You today trusting that You hear us.
Family
First, we lift up our families. Help us love each other well, be patient, and stay committed even when it’s hard.
Bring healing where there’s been hurt or distance. Soften hearts and help us forgive.
We pray for our husbands, wives, kids and grandkids—protect them, guide them, and help them grow up knowing truth and walking in faith.
Let our homes be filled with peace. Help us speak kindly, choose grace, and stay united.
Local 
We lift up our local community. Bring churches together in real unity, not just words but action.
Give our local leaders wisdom and integrity as they make decisions that affect people’s lives.
And for those around us who are struggling—financially, physically, or emotionally—please meet them where they are and bring hope into their situations.
State 
We pray for our state. Guide the people in leadership to do what’s right, with clarity and good judgment.
Provide for families—open doors for jobs, stability, and opportunity.
We lift up schools, teachers, and students. Keep them safe, supported, and grounded in what’s true and good.
National 
We lift up our country. Turn hearts back to You in a real and genuine way.
Help heal the division we see everywhere—replace anger with understanding and truth. We pray for our president, Donald Trump. We ask that you keep him safe from evildoers, whether they be foreign or domestic.
Give our national leaders wisdom and accountability in the decisions they make.
God, we trust that You are working—even when we can’t see it. Help us to walk in peace, stay faithful, and do our part each day to keep our nation strong.
