This morning as I was preparing to write this blog post, I was reminded of a vision that the Holy Spirit revealed to me concerning Jerusalem. In it I saw, from a distance, the Throne of God and a Throne on the right hand of God. The whole scene was superimposed over what I knew to be the city of Jerusalem.
I could see that these thrones were occupied by Father God and His son Jesus on on His right side. As soon as I saw this scene, even though I was not close enough to see the details of their beings, I knew who it was by the Spirit. They themselves were not in human form, but visualized as pure power and glory.
This was a very short vision. Immediately, as I saw this scene, I saw Jesus stand up and began spinning. This spinning was so powerfuly energized that it was alarming! It was like a volcano erupting. I knew it meant a powerful and significant change was coming for the earth below.
At the same instant that Jesus bagan to spin, my vision enlarged to see four angels.
They were posted at the four corners of the world, represented by an enormous living map of the world. As soon as Jesus stood and started to spin, the angels took up the four corners of the earth and began to roll the edges very quickly inward, toward the center. I only saw the rolling scene for a few seconds and I witnessed only the very beginning of their intense movements. Then I could see nothing more and the vision was over.
I was shaken by this scene. I don't know what it represented or what time frame was being shown. I do know that when I am in prayer for the peace of Jerusalem, I am often reminded of this vision and it causes me to cry out to God, in the Spirit, concerning it.
Today, I will mention two very well known scriptures that are often in my prayer scope concerning Jerusalem. I believe that time is short. I believe that praying specifically regarding these scriptures is imperative.
Psalm 122:6, “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: They shall prosper that love thee."
Romans 10:1 “Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.”
As American prayer warriors, let us continue to pray for Jerusalem as instructed in Psalms 122:6. Let us continue to pray that Isreal would be saved. We can pray for spiritual salvation through the blood atonement of Jesus for God's chosen people and also that God will physically protect and save the citizens and the nation of Isreal.
