 Hello Prayer Warriors!
We are continuing our Prayer Campaign for the United States of America!!! Let's continue to cry out to God for our great country! Today we will be lifting up the state of Florida to the Lord in prayer!!!

ALERT from the Weather Channel: Hurricane Dorian is now a Category 2 hurricane and is forecast to intensify into a powerful Category 4, posing a major danger to Florida and the southeastern United States over Labor Day weekend. It is important for us to pray for the safety of emergency responders and for the residents that may find themselves in danger during the next few days.

​Florida is home to over 21 million people. Let's lift these people up to the Lord in prayer today. He loves and cares for each and every one of them! Let's also lift up some of their cities by name to the Lord today! Some of their largest cities include: Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, Orlando and St. Petersburg. There are many, many other large cities that are too numerous to list . Tallahassee is the capital of Florida. Let's also remember all of the smaller cities, towns and villages. Please pray that churches will flourish and that the Gospel will find it's way into every household.

 Let's also lift up the leaders of Florida to the Lord today!

4th of July Celebration of Freedom

Today I am filled with an overwhelming awareness of God's love for us. I am also very aware of His desire for us to share the good news of His love to those around us who are suffering because of sin and despair. If only each person could come face to face with the realization of that love!

In North America it seems that we are at a crossroads. While many of our religious freedoms are being challenged, we still enjoy a measure of liberty. Among those liberties is the freedom to proclaim the truth of Jesus Christ to a world that is darkening all around us.

We celebrate those liberties today on the 4th of July. In history, brave men made the ultimate sacrifice to gain those liberties for us. Today in the United States we celebrate with fireworks and great fanfare. So much was accomplished by the independence that we gained. A government was formed that allows us to worship freely and serve God with many freedoms.

In my own town, a battle was fought in the Revolutionary War. Every year there are reenactments of the battle that was fought here. Today I want to publicly salute these men who sacrificed to the highest degree to establish a country where we could worship God freely.

We still have opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His love for us. In our culture, one of the greatest battles that we fight as American Prayer Force Members is to contend for these freedoms. It is so important! It is the love of God that sets us and others free! It is through prayer that God turns a nation to repentance and restoration.

We do not know the future of our nation, but we now that we can fight in the Spirit. We must battle for our liberty to proclaim the love of Jesus to a lost world.

Happy 4th of July, Day of Independence! Today I salute these men who sacrificed their lives to establish a country where we can continue to speak of the good news of His great love.

May the examples of their sacrifice inspire in us the selfless love of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. Bless the families of our fallen troops, and fill their homes and their lives with Your strength and peace.

ALERT: Loisiana in State of Emergency

Louisiana is in a State of Emergency.
Today when I was writing this post, I felt a stirring of the Holy Spirit as I began to gather information about Loisiana for our state-by-state prayer post.

I often spend time praying as I am writing these posts for the individual states. In response to the alert in the Spirit, I began to search for news about Louisiana to see if there was something specific that I should be praying about.

Immediately, I read that Louisiana is in a State of Emergency because of severe storms and flooding. I decided to post this now, so that we all can be praying today for this situation and the families and businesses that are being hit hard wth this disaster. I will post the state information later, but I want to ask all of us, as a national prayer team, to focus on this situation as we are going through our prayer time. 

Note: East Texas is also suffering in this storm emergency.  
God bless each one of you that take these blogs to heart and pray didligently for these individul states.

By God's Spirit, We Continue to Advance!

It's not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit saith the Lord. Zechariah 4:6b
In this day, and in these circumstances, and in this present darkness, the church of Jesus Christ must still advance. God has chosen to use us as instruments of rightousness in an increasingly darkening landscape. He has chosen to work through us both as individuals and as members of the body of Christ, to exert power over darkness by His Spirit who lives within us. God has called us to allow the Holy Spirit to flow through us to bring an anointed word of deliverence to the people who are bound by the forces of evil all around us. When we look at the tide of evil that exists today we see that our country is seething with ugliness. Greed, uncontained lust, and the love of violence are exeedingly strong and seemingly invincible in our society. We can begin to despair that the church could ever move forward under such conditions.
In 1 John 4:4, we read: “ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
Our very important work is to humble ouselves in prayer and seeking His face and continuing full-force in turning from our own wicked ways. We must obey the voice of the Holy Spirit within us and do those things that He says. God WILL reveal His plans to us individually and through the true functioning body of Christ. Not only will God lead us as individuals, but God has given us those in church leadership the the ability to lead by the Spirit.
When God speaks to us as the church to advance, we must obey! We must have faith that God will not leave us to come up with our own plans to move forward. The Holy Spirit will reveal the exact plan that will lead to many spiritual victories even in the darkest circumstanses. In the Bible we see in both the Old and in the New Testaments that God consistantly revealed exact plans for battle after battle and for situation after situation. We must expectantly wait for instructions by the Holy Spirit. God has plans for us to gain victory within our own personal lives and within our society to bring the furtherment of the Kingdom of God among us. It's not by might or by power but by His Spirit, The Lord has spoken it. Zechariah 4:6b​

 Missouri is a state in the Midwestern United States. The largest cities are St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Columbia.  The Missouri River, after which the state is named, flows through the center of the state into the Mississippi River, which makes up Missouri's eastern border. Missouri played a central role in the westward expansion of the United States. The Pony Express, Oregon Trail, Santa Fe Trail, and California Trail all began in Missouri.


Special Prayer Request: 47 Car pile-up ouside of Kansas City on Friday, Feb 15th. One person dead, at least seven injured. This horrific accident took place in a highway white-out on icy roads. Please join us in prayer for everyone involved.

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day !

Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and a nationally recognized social activist who led the civil rights movement in the United States from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. He moved the whole nation with his on-point message of non-violence and led civic protests against segregation. In his passionate sermons and speeches, he influenced the heart of the people. Without violence, he became an influencer in his time. On this day of rememberence we honor his life, his passion, and the effect that his "I Have a Dream" speech still holds on us as Americans even to this day.

Matthew 5:4 – Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. 
Dear Heavenly Father, 
We come to you today in prayer, on this national day of Mourning.

We give praise to you who conducts the entire universe.  In this prayer, we pray for peace. We ask for peace between nations, peace between individuals, and peace of mind. May there be abundant peace from heaven. *

We come before you today, as a nation, with sorrow. We know that you are always with us and that your love surrounds us in this hour of grief. 

We ask you to be with the family of President George H Bush today and through this difficult time of grieving. We ask you for grace and abounding peace to be bestowed upon them at this time.

The year that is drawing toward its close has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added which are of so extraordinary a nature that they can not fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever-watchful providence of Almighty God.
In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign states to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere, except in the theater of military conflict, while that theater has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.
Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defense have not arrested the plow, the shuttle, or the ship; the ax has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege, and the battlefield, and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.
No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.

​THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHRISTIANITY AND OTHER RELIGIONS. This is something I have been thinking about a bit this week. There is a difference! As I was reading some conversations online and thinking about our homeschooling curriculum (we are learning about other countries, cultures, and religions), I realized that I didn’t know how to articulate the difference. But, then it came to me. The difference is relationship. We get to have a relationship with a loving Heavenly Father. We are different because we don’t follow all these rules to be good people and hope we can make it to heaven some day. We do everything because we love our Heavenly Father and don’t want to disappoint Him. Just as we wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone we love... it puts a strain on the relationship. It’s about relationship, not religion. So, if you are thinking about thinking about trying Christianity and wondering if it works... it does! It IS different from trying to be a good person or following the teachings of “good men.” It is about relationship with the most wonderful Father! He loves you and is just waiting for you to say yes to Him, yes to following Him. It isn’t a dry dusty thing for old people. He talks to you and comforts you when you are hurt and lonely. He shows you things He wants to change in your life. He wants a real relationship with you. It is worth it! ❤️

Let's also lift up some of their cities by name to the Lord today! The capital of Iowa is  Des Moines. Some of the other largest cities include Cedar Rapids, Davenport, and Sioux City.  

Let's also remember all of the smaller cities, towns and villages. Please pray that churches will flourish and that the Gospel will find its way into every household.

Minneapolis is the state's most recognizable city and is also home to three of its four major pro sports teams, St Paul is the second largest city and the capital of Minnesota. Other large cities include Rochester, Bloomington and Duluth.

Let's also remember all of the smaller cities, towns and villages. Pleas pray that churches will flourish and that the Gospel will find its way into every household.
et's also lift up the leaders of Minnesota to the Lord today! Let's pray for Governor Mark Dayton, Senator Amy Klobuchar, and for the special election for a second senator that will be held on Nov 6, 2018.
